why would you pay that much for a fairly bog standard steel hard tail. swear they're all the same. got one in the shed, new, tange cromo. its got a head tube, dropouts and all that stuff. - £14.00

what about a dmr trailstar, they go for £20-£30 on ebay and are wicked, spend the rest on wheels and your good to go

Anything over 50mm = long travel.

Yeah, the frame is designed for up to 150mm rather than just 100-120. So will remain nice at 140 rather than pushing the bb too high by chucking 140 on a jump frame. I also nearly bought some 120-160 domains but figured they were a bit heavy. i might want bigger forks in the future and will be able to do that better with a frame designed for long travels. I also much prefer going down to going up and being slack as your mum's chuff will help this.

I hated my trailstar for mtb. Absolute pig trying to go up on, ok on trail centre downs but literally wanted to get off n weep when I rode it in hebden, frame too short and head tube angle too steep. 456 makes stuff easy and you can pretend its skill not just great geometries, of which it has loads.

we said about 10:30 in hebden, if we drive cool, if get train theres the 9:22 gets in at 10 or the 9:48 gets in at 10:20 so will get one of those
