When are you putting the order in?
Soon as really, few days time?
im good, thanks ste
Scrap that I don't need to do an order anymore
I want one of the connect things to play with, not really in need of anything else, anyone want to do an order still?
I am doing a small order early next week. Can add one for you if you want.
Please.
Just 1?
Yeah, I reckon my spare will be fine the old fashioned way.
Cool.
Order's going in this evening, last chance for anyone to jump on.
Ordered the following for others.
Connect - Sylwia
Connect - Rob
1 head, 1 shaft - Drew
1 shaft, 1 grip - Andy King
Ste's ref mallet (I hope...)
Email to say it's been dispatched. Hopefully here early next week.
I'm in London and I've asked max to bring some winter balls to Mitch tonight for me. Is there anything you guys need? I can pick up and bring to brum tourney or to mcr the Thursday after.
A coffee machine?
Considering how quickly my Magic purples (1.0mm) bent and how straight my NS Brutus (1.0mm) has stayed...
I'd actually be interested in a side-by side comparison of all the readily available capped mallets. The Milk ones seem crazy expensive, and my Fixcraft head has no fancy ridging... How does the £12.60 Throw in Polo Metal head compare with the £16 Magic Emerald???
MOAR DATA!!!
Throw in's head is weighty, although their new concave one is interesting.
Ste tried my Throw in metal head on Tuesday and thought it was crazy heavy. Also bear in mind that their customer service is bloody appalling!!
It's because they're from Kent.
Go for milk, expensive but worth it IMO
Was tempted by those after seeing them in Glasgow...
I have a throwin one at home, i think they would last forever but I snapped the shaft and never bothered putting the head on another shaft because of the weight it just felt shit
Was talking about the hourglass/arc ones. They sent a couple of prototypes up as prizes.
And they only weigh about 2g more than a regular magic.
ordered 2 supernova heads. we'll see how they go.
Doing a Magic order on behalf of MHBP for some cold weather balls, should last us through the rest of winter now we have the boards.
If anyone wants to tag onto the order and save on shipping make a list and I'll order it tomorrow evening.
What are their shafts like nowadays? I bent my 4 from the first "1.0" batch far too quickly but I've been very happy with my NS Brutus (painted).
still crap i'd bet.
As a first polo mallet magic was ok for me, it hasn't distorted in the 3 months I've used it. Slightly heavier than the feather lite from NS but that's expected. The mallet head so far, is equal to the supa nova. If anything the supa nova seems to be wearing more quickly compared to the black magic. I had the magic cut to 32inch which might be a reason why it hasn't bent. Show and tell on mallet thread sounds good....was going to order a complete mallet from bike polo arena this weekend.
Balls ordered, hopefully have them for Tuesday...
