Manchester to Canterbury is £66.25 non-advance return (Offpeak, but with railcards you can still travel at Peak times with OffPeak tickets for some reason...!?!). Advance tickets total as little as £38.60 return. Where the hell did you find those prices Scott?!
I have a friend who has started playing polo in Canterbury and I want to demolish him. So I might be in.
Ok apparently if you search for tickets today they are mega expensive, but if you look at tickets for october they are a lot cheaper. I guess even non-advance (not limited to one train-time) tickets are cheaper in advance too?
Edit: Okay apparently (again) it depends on what website you use. I use eastcoast.co.uk because it still has the best interface IMO.
I need to stop nerding on trains and get on with some work... :S
No chance of me getting to Canterbury, slight chance of Birmingham but that's also looking unlikely. Think Alan/Sylwia are playing in Birmingham according to the LFGSS thread
Yes:
1. Tum
2. Joe
Maybe:
1. Scott
2. Andy King
Birmingham instead:
1. Polo Resurrectus: Neil, Emyr, Rob
2. Flowery Twats: John, Dave, Drew
3. Shooting Loads: Alan, Sylwia, Ste?
I am a definite if there is room for me. I'd like to play with Joe and Tum if that's okay. Do we have anywhere to stay? I know a polo player in Canterbury and a non-polo friend in Gravesend... I can ask them
manchester to cantebury £256.10, with rail card. Gotta wonder how the rail system comes up with this shit.
OR you go to book early and go london for £12ish each way and open return london to cantebury for £20.
Might be in

Eastcoast lets you book bikes online too.
I'd also maybe be up for a Salford car hire weekend deal again, could work out cheaper.
Rob, im going for this and also up for sharing car , let me know
I might have something sorted, I might not, I'll let you know when I do.
Interested, need to check work stuff tomorrow
Am interested. Have car, could probably squeeze in three plus me. Split diesel, happy days.
nice , it will be great Luca told me they have good court and other stuff like Tabletennis .
Also interested, I can only fit two bikes/people in my car though.
Between me and Joe thats two teams of three in two cars - bit of a squeeze but doable.

Tum's playing with Josh and Luca. There is a full thread on LFGSS about it all: http://www.lfgss.com/thread111736.html
Tum's favorite to win.
I've put Joe and I down on the waiting list, but I guess it's unlikely :(
If by some miracle, we down get in, are you in Scott?
Come to Brum.
Brum is backup. And it's unlikely we will get to compete at Canterbury.
I just really wanna play ping pong.
I'll bring a travel kit.
