Too soon after the excess of LO (and I have a pesky christening to attend) for me, I'm afraid. Plus I hope to be slightly too hung over after my birthday on Saturday...

I can do this.
I can't :(
Not sure if bubonics ae up for it yet but Im up for it so subbing/new team an option
neil can't make it ben, you wanna play with me and em for this one?
Don't think I can get there either.
Mancunian Candidates it is then!! Emyr you been in Manchester long enough to be a Mancunian yeah?
Emyr, chan's pulled you still up for it and anyone for playing
Anyone else up for this? I want to do it, and I'd like to know for sure early enough to figure out transportation, etc.
sal, play wit ben and em if they're up for it?
Just found out that I have to work on sunday
that's a bummer chan. i'm up for it though.
List!
1. Mancunian Candidates (Ben, Em, Sal)
Need to make sure I have money but how do we intend to get there?
First train of the day gets there 9:58. Not quite early enough for a 10am start.
£?
£32.90 return. If it's all on time, I reckon we can be on court 10:15.
Can you get a car+fuel for less than £50 if it's just you and me? (My ticket is for £21) How are you getting there Ben?
Also, Tim mentioned he might be heading down from MCR Sunday morning, worth checking if he wants to share the car on the way down.
Tim who?
brighton tim, on the lfgss post. I sent him a pm with a link to this.
Ah, Tim Warin. He's from Bristol really.
Just asked about lifts so we can be at court on time (and save some £).
I don't have a car unfortunately. I may even reconsider coming to Manchester if it's going to be that tricky!
Right. I'm not sure what Ben's planning. If he's making his way from Hebden Bridge that leaves 3 of us and we *should* fit on that train. I live near the station and I can pop in Saturday to book our bike reservations. Alternatively I can stick my wheels on my bag and pull the “This is luggage, not a bike” trick. (Worked on the way back from London!)
Ben, if you're coming via Manchester, or have any other suggestions, let us know!
Worst case, we'll have to hire a car for the day. That shouldn't come much worse than 3 tickets.
OK dokey I have managed to blag a car for the day but would be setting off direct from HB if I can, if I had to come by to get you guys I would have to leave super early. Lift back is ok though. let me know your thoughts guys?
The 8:30 train to Brum is still an option but depending which route you were planning we could meet you near the M60, Eccles/Stretford/Stockport? No trains to Hebden before 9am.
yeah I'd be going M62 - M60 south (past stockport :->) M56 - M6...... I'll have a look at times etc to make it for 9:45 eta
can you guy's get to stockport (near M-way junction) for 8 am??
Ok, other option is Me and Sal go down Saturday night, train would be £8 to arrive 11pm or £12 to arrive earlier, but I'd rather stay in my own bed TBH!

I put post on LFGSS for tim to grab a lift if he wants to hook with you guys for 8am collection??
Cool, easiest place to meet is probably at the Staples/PetsAtHome near the Pyramid, anywhere else is likely to be one-way-systems or too far off the M-way.
Awesome! Cheers, Ben.
Decathlon by the pyramid is easy to get to from J1 for pick up.
Yeah, same Junction but Staples is closer.
I used to live near the pyramid it's awesome design
