Lots of new people at last nights session! Lets help them get set up asap with some free parts. Emma and Slyvia have just ordered new pompino frames but they need all the other bits. Lets do a list of any bits you have to donate for free:

If anyone needs any chains or any smallish generic stuff fairly cheaply, I can get it from work at trade usually, just hit me a PM or email with what you need and I'll get it, chains are something like £3 new I think?

(Wont be making a profit from it btw, just offering getting parts that need to be new for cheaper than shops if people need them)

Thats awesome, will be in touch for small stuff once I have my big stuff sorted!

I quite like the green, the one I built Kirsty looks quite good. Happy (for a few quid) to build you wheels if you get the bits.

You probably want to add a freewheel matching the size of your chainring to that list Emma.

That's cool (Salman, when are you back in Manc?)

Emma, only just seen this, I think I can sort you out with a rear calliper, lever, cable, saddle and possibly a stem, will bring down a bag of stuff on Sunday and you can pick and choose!

Cheers Andy :)

Surely a hacksaw will be better on steel bars, the pipe cutters are usually only meant for copper/alu unless it's a special one.

Will try and bring a hacksaw too, pipe cutter has worked on steel bars pretty well so far though.

I've cut some open prisons with a pipe cutter before but it takes an age and blunts the blade.

Fair enough, it's only a cheap cutter so I'm not too bothered about it, can't find my hacksaw either.
