EHBPC 2015 Zaragoza

Time to learn Spanish?

Quote:

Hi Euro peeps!

We slowly got out of hibernation and are coming to you with news regarding the EHBPC 2015.

We received only one bid prior to the 20.12.2014 deadline we fixed, and none after.

The bid is from the Zaragoza community:
-They can build 3 courts with 1.20m boards on a perfect concrete surface, in a sport center with showers available to players

-They already have city authorization but only if they organize the tournament during the last week of may. That is from May 25-31.

-They are an experienced community who showed great skills in tournament management in the past.

-The location: google.es/maps/search/C%2F+Cineasta+Adolfo+Aznar,+38+Planta+.+50018/@41.6747965,-0.8819707,302m/data=!3m1!1e3

We are allowing one week from this notice for this candidacy to become official. That is January 21st at 12:00 GMT+1.
Any other community with a SERIOUS plan in the works (permits obtained by the city/facilities) that has not submitted their bid would have until said date to do so by filling this form:
docs.google.com/forms/d/1GmS81xV94iqtqfHBmHrzGpZ3H0tXTb_-4fM8WHN...

If no other city is capable of contending Zaragoza's bid past this date, we will be happy to announce it as the official organizer of EHBPC 2015.

It is understood that the proposed dates are atypical, considering how early in the season it is, but that is the only timeframe allowed to them by the city council. Although it may pressure some communities to organize the team selection process quickly, it has the advantage of providing the qualified teams a good amount of time to save for their WHBPC trip to New Zealand.

More informations in one week then!

Cheers folks!

May or September? Think I'd prefer September to get a few more practice tournaments sorted.
