Polo stag do?

Just got this email through to the polo@mhbp.co.uk address.

"Hi,

I wonder if you can help me. I'm organising a stag do for early March next year. As he's a keen mountain biker , I thought Bike Polo might be a fun activity to try and more interesting than going paint balling.

I've been trying to find somewhere that would offer some basic training followed by a few matches, maybe over a few hours for about 16 people.

I wondered if this was the sort of thing that you could cater for, or whether you had any ideas about where I might look. He's based in Manchester, but we haven't decided where to base it yet so any pointers would be helpful.

Any help or advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks"

What do we reckon? I don't want to start using polo as a money making opportunity but I think we could use it to help out with funding for a few things that have been mentioned like boards and goals, or a few months of lights. I'm guessing we could sort it out without too many problems, everyone fits flats and loans their bikes out and we do a little bit on skills and whatnot then organise a little tournament and obviously get some beers in, actually sounds fun and could lead to a couple of new recruits.
Any obvious problems spring to mind? Would we need to sort out some sort of insurance or would a waiver and a pre warning to bring kneepads/helmets if people are worried do the job?

Guessing the guy that sent it can read this too, so if you'd like to get in on the conversation, sign up and we can discuss it.

First question: Yes. Second question: Almost certainly, assume if you were booking a do, you would expect equipment to be provided...

Think it's best to discuss this with everyone on Tuesday rather than on here.

Fair enough, obviously we'd have to lend our stuff out.
