I've just deleted 80% of the user accounts, those being easily identifiable as spambots. Account in the "Real People" group were protected.
Based on the data I had, blocking all IPs which are assigned to China and Russia should limit the workload of dealing with spam.
Anyone got a polo-relevant reason for me not to block China and Russia?
I've also set the timezone of everyone who was on UTC to "Europe/London" so you should all get DST adjusted time.
I've recently been inviting a lot of Chinese and Russian people to play polo.
Can we have tags back?
I think Tum and Sylwia fulfill our "Asia" and "Soviet Bloc" quotas.
When are we gonna microco.sm this bad boy? Let them sort the spammers out.
Also, events and shit instead of lists that no one can do properly.
It's not ready yet.
We could test it, it currently does everything this place does and more.
It doesn't do static content, like pages, yet I think.
I'd have thought we'd just link to it from the forum button up there, can tie in static pages and whatnot when they get implemented. Most people who use the site will almost certainly just use the forum, I don't think I've even looked at the other pages for months, they'll still be there for visitors and noobs and we get better functioning forums for the people who use it all the time.
