argh. emergency call for buy beg borrow of three speed STI please - went to replace cable on mine to find it had been bodged and now it's unusable :( Leaving tonight if anyone can help!
unfortunately, the stem I bought off Andy is not long enough. Does anyone have a 100mm stem w/ oversize clamp? And Andy, do you want your 80mm Salsa stem back?
So I've cracked the chainstay on my Bruiser so I'm without a polo bike til I get in touch with Milwaukee about it or maybe get it welded by someone.... Does anyone have any suitable frames available...? Thinking a pompino/NS analog/Subrosa malum/steamroller/Fuji track etc... Something 700c can just be a frame that I can swap every thing off the bruiser on to...,
Scott: do you still have an Analog frame...? Possibly even your old Create...?!
Fuji Track has 60 mm trail on the stock fork with tyres around 30mm (will have to check), 73ish head angle and reasonably short wheelbase. As used by Rupert during the north-south tourney.
I'm just about to split my medium plug to parts and sell it on. It's a 2010 so has a Tange frame. Lots of associated bits including some nice Andel cogs and lockrings, Open Pro rear on double fixed hub, tyres and whatever else I find in the box of bits. Will probably be putting it up on LFGSS NW Market place in the next week or so.
I'll try and pop down to catch up with folks soon so you can all have a laugh at my 'OMWC' project.
I'm even worse at beer than I was at polo! I'll see what I can do for Thursday.
Em - I'll let you know on the wheel, it is quite warn having done the last 8 months on a freewheel as my commuter so it might be more polo fodder than street blasting tackle.
Sure, it's for Emma's polo bike to replace the baby blue Espresso weight training wheels, so I'm expecting to rebuild it at the end of last year anyway.
Does anyone have a 26" front disc wheel I could borrow/buy before brum? Mine ain't happy and I ain't sure I'll have time to sort it in time. :( really don't wanna put the 700c back on!
I used it for polo for a while and on other bikes, never had it slip. Has big bolts and quite a wide plate at the front.
Anyone got a handlebar bag I can borrow next week for riding the coast to coast?
