Anyone after some of the G-Form knee or elbow pads, have both in medium (all black) unworn and still in packaging. Very good pads, as used by Ste, Neil and Salman...
How much are you wanting for the G-Form knees Andy? I might be interested at the end of the month if they fit nice.
I have a set of brand new Crud Roadracer mk2s I can't use - £10 or swap/part-ex for something maybe? I need an 8spd road cassette/new chains/road brake blocks...
But most of all I need to try bleeding my Shimano M596! Lost power halfway through Llandegla so I sent it back to Planet X, got it back yesterday and it's even worse - no resistance on the lever at all! Wondering if they just emptied what fluid was in there. Very sad :( Anyone happen to have a compatible bleed kit I can borrow? Current options are to put faith in their ability to sort it third time around, splash out on a bleed kit and hope it's not a more serious fault or wait until Sunday and bleed it just before I ride Hebden's most terrifying trails and hope it's not a more serious fault.
On One 456 XT build: £1000 ex-review bike (RRP £1600), which was 'fully health checked by our professional bike mechanics and ready to ride'. Apparently worn front pads that do nowt but squeal doesn't stop you from going straight out and riding DH. Seems they didn't really check the rear brake either. May have been discounted £600 but it's still £1000 wasted if I can't ride the fuckin ting!
Sorry, I know it's the wrong forum really but you're all such lovely, helpful people...
