my opinion on all the design comments about the site, its not complete and I have tried to stress that I think its important to get it looking right before going live, thats been ignored, everyone seems to have an idea of how they would prefer it to look so I will give up trying to provide feedback
There does need to be somewhere to post feedback, things will be noticed by other people on different OS's browsers and things, good things will come of this thread, I hope.
On that note, after posting, my back button is weird, it doesn't go back as I'd hope but skips between 2 parts of the same page, I'll post details after I post this and copy the urls. After posting the greenish box that pops up to tell you you've posted overlaps the little navigation set of links.
The new post things aren't always consistent in showing when there is a new post and clicking them leaves the new thread slightly off the top of the page. I'd like it to take you to the new post itself too if possible. Anyway of getting unread things to be in bold like on lfgss?
The filter keeps barring various pages (seemingly at random), flagging them as Offensive/tasteless. How does it know??? It doesn't do it with lfgss and I'm sure there is no more profanity on this site. It sometimes will be fine until I try to submit a post then it'll lock that page out. Would be quite handy if I could access at work...
Is there a way to have a calendar on the site for tourneys/MTB or road day trips/socials? It would be cool if a calendar could be updated by all users, say for polo lists, rather than use the thread method - thinking ahead we will end up with countless threads for different polo sessions which seems pretty messy.
We do have a google calendar I'd like embedded at some point, could maybe use that on the polo this week thread? Easy to keep updated and people can subscribe to it. Maybe have a thread for each day of the week with a list that starts again each week?
My post count is at 3, I think I've posted more than that today. How am I going to be the 1st person to get to 100 posts if it's not counting correctly.
Working on getting my brother to use his RED scarlet to take 4k shots and fancy video, maybe one day if he ain't renting it out, gonna try and get him to film the shite tourney.
User picture thumbnail generation was giving out of memory errors so I've turned those off until I can fiddle some settings. Gallery coming soon.
