OOOOOOOH, you BEAUT! my heart is a-flutter with excitment. Though that may have something to do with residual brewdog syndrome. Wow that place is good.
Major thanks to Ben for the amazing routes and hospitality. Really beautiful place to ride and it must be great working there espcially the workshop. Cheers to Ste and Nate aswell its been a long day of fun.
Need my card reader to pull the pictures off, Proberbly be tomorrow evening but some good ones and a couple of short vids.
What a total beaut of a day, and I've already almost recovered! Ben, you're a legend man, thanks for our customised tour. I've already sniffed out three potential houses to rent from friends of friends :-D
After mine and Ste's adventure to salford yesterday we were lead to some unfinished single track thats going to me amazing. Nice berms, drops and jumps all with a quick all weather surface. Should be finished in 3 or 4 weeks but is still rideable other than a missing bridge. Theres still the old 2.5k loop at the bottom that has some nice sections but is a little worn.
Thinking of getting up there again friday after work and maybe next wednesday evening if anyone fancys it. Can either take a 15min train upto kearsley(£3.50) and ride through the forest or ride out on cycle route 6 takes about 20-25 mins. Would say a helmet is needed, but tyres arent an issue if it stays dry.
After hunting down another fsr enduro for a bargain price. My guy with the sworks comes in to let me know I'll have it Thursday morning. So if anyone wants a enduro I know of a cheapish

this is happening on Wednesday, shall we meet and get the 6.33 train from Victoria?
That's the plan going to setup the hopper for Sal and the soften the enduro up. Maybe even wash them. 633 train should give us 2 or 3 hours. Warm up on the old track then up to the fresh ones.
Hey man, are you saying there's another Endro for pyaar cheep yo? has owt come of that? Have been thinking a lot about On One 456s but I might sell a child if the Enduro has the right price...
Will ask about tomorrow's ride, see if I can get a pass...
Man I spent ages building and tuning up my mtb bike, the rear brake is so toight is the wind hits the rotor it catches the pad. had a 16mile test ride today n its greatt. seatpost is badly shimmed but hopefully a proper one will arrive tommorow and hopefully I got the right size. Anyone else who want to cycle is welcome to join me en route. where is the place? is it or w/e is nearby labled on gmaps? thanks!
Right then 1833 (6:33) train from Victoria, you carnt be late as its a train and will leave without you, But you could always ride up. Weathers been in our favor and the route should be dry and fast, well most of it. Remeber Helmet, gloves, water and some kind of snack bar thing.
Eeeh that were fun! My knees look like there were duelling to the death with a strimmer though. Was woken up by everyone pouncing on me this morning, which was really lovely aside from Audrey's decision to pounce on said knees. I hope she doesn't repeat in school the language I used just then.
Trail will be built to 'minimize impact on other... biodiversity...' raising the question: has anyone ever experience 'trail kill'...? Wouldn't like to come across a belligerent badger on an evening ride!
Awesome, looking forward to it

Ill probably cycle there, 8 miles to victoria or 12.2 to kearsley, save a few quid, fuss of getting bikes on a train and a bit of an extra warm up :-)

If you want to meet us up there the river gap its as central as possible. https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ll=53.527611,-2.313319&spn=0.004254,0.013... If your riding up or driving then the entrance is https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ll=53.514944,-2.292473&spn=0.004255,0.013... and just follow the river till you see the 13 arches
Any questions txt or phone me
